Performance of quartz glass beaker
Acid Resistance
High Acid Resistance: Quartz glass exhibits strong resistance to most acids (such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, etc.), maintaining its physical and chemical properties even under high-temperature conditions.
Special Case of Hydrofluoric Acid: Although quartz glass shows good resistance to various acids, hydrofluoric acid (HF) is an exception, as it reacts with siloxane bonds, leading to the corrosion of quartz glass. Therefore, direct contact with hydrofluoric acid should be avoided during use.
Alkali Resistance
Broad Alkali Resistance: Quartz glass beaker is resistant to various alkaline solutions (such as sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, etc.), maintaining good stability at both room and high temperatures. Its structure is not easily damaged by strong bases.
High-Temperature Alkali Resistance: Even under high-temperature conditions, quartz glass can withstand the corrosion of most strong alkalis, making it suitable for high-temperature chemical reactions.
High-Temperature Resistance:
This quartz beaker can endure extreme temperatures, up to 1000°C, making it suitable for heating, distillation, and high-temperature reactions in experiments.
It has good thermal stability and is not prone to cracking during rapid heating and cooling, ensuring experimental safety.
Non-Polluting Characteristics:
Quartz material does not contain any metal ions or impurities, ensuring the accuracy of experimental results and preventing contamination of samples.

Usage and Precautions of quartz glass beaker

Avoid Hydrofluoric Acid: When using quartz glass beaker, try to avoid contact with hydrofluoric acid to prevent damage to the instrument.
Proper Cleaning: Clean the quartz glass beaker promptly after use, avoiding prolonged exposure to acidic or alkaline solutions to maintain its performance.

Applications
Laboratory Equipment: Quartz glass is commonly used to manufacture quartz glass beakers, quartz test tubes, quartz cuvettes, and other quartz laboratory instruments, suitable for acid-base titrations, sample processing, and storage.
Chemical Synthesis: In drug synthesis and chemical reactions, quartz glass is widely used in reactors and containers due to its acid-alkali resistant properties.
Materials Science: In high-temperature materials research, quartz glass is often used as a reaction medium for various chemical reactions.
