Samarium-Doped Filter Glass Plate for Laser Cavities
10% Samarium Oxide Doped Glass is a rare-earth optical glass with 10% Sm₂O₃ doped in a silicate base, pale yellow and transparent. It is designed for flash-lamp pumped solid-state laser cavities. It blocks UV below 400 nm and strongly absorbs 1064 nm parasitic IR, suppressing color centers and ASE, protecting Nd:YAG rods, and improving beam quality, pump efficiency and service life. Applications include 1064 nm laser resonators, laser flow tubes/plates, medical & cosmetic lasers, high-power lasers and LIDAR.
